Yarn consumption:
Yarn requirement: 3–4 skeins of approximately 200 metres of mohair per skein. We used Cowgirl Blues Fluffy Mohair for 8 mm needles. The cardigan is knitted with 1 strand. The gauge is 10 sts = 13 cm on 8 mm needles.
Techniques: Raglan from the top down, I-cord edges and ties.
A wide variety of yarn qualities can be used. Make a swatch before you begin.
You will need 8 stitch markers (SM), a short circular needle (40 cm) 8 mm, a long circular needle (80 cm or longer) 7 and 8 mm. You will also need two stitch holders, or two pieces of scrap yarn to hold some stitches.
The cardigan is knitted with raglan sleeves from the top down, so you can measure as you go to check whether the sleeve and body lengths are right.
