Sizes S/M (L/XL) XXL
The knitted blouse is an oversized style with 3/4 sleeves designed to give you a relaxed look. Its approx. 62 (64) 66 cm long. (Or as long as you prefer).
Chest width measures 112 (120) 128 cm. And will fit a chestsize approx. 70-95 (100-120 cm) 110-120 cm.
You are knitting the blouse top-down.
Knitting tension is 11 st. = 10 cm.
Its important to knit a small sample (stockinette stitch) to see if you have the 11 st. per 10 cm.
You will need circular needles 8 mm. Both a short 40 cm. for the sleeves, and one 60 cm or 80-100 cm. for the body. For the ribbed body edge, use circular needle 6 mm. Which also is being used for the ribbed edging round the neckline, where you are knitting an i-cord edge round the V-neck edge. You can also use the long circular needle 6 mm for the cuffs if you like to knit with Magic Loop. Otherwise you can use double pointed needles 6 mm.
You will also need 8 stitch markers. And 2 stitch holders, or cotton yarn strands to put some stitches a side.
Materials
250-300 grams of Mayflower super kid silk mohair. Use 4 strands.
Or
1 strand of brushed alpaca Fashion Light Luxury from Rico, with one strand Brigitte no. 3. Use 5 (5) 6 balls of each type.
Or
2 strands of brushed alpaca Fashion Light Luxury from Rico. Use 10 (11) 12 balls.
There are many yarns to use for this needle size, so please give it a go and always knit a small sample at first.
