11–12 skeins Mayflower super kid silk mohair. The cardigan is knitted with 4 strands.
5 (6) skeins Fashion Light Luxury together with 4 (5) skeins Kid Silk Mohair. Knitted with 1 strand of Fashion Light Luxury and 1 strand of Kid Silk Mohair.
5 (6) skeins Bella from Permin together with 4 (5) skeins Kid Silk Mohair. Knitted with 1 strand of Bella and 2 strands of Kid Silk Mohair.
5 (6) skeins Puno from Gepard, knitted with 1 strand.
Gauge: 12 sts = 10 cm.
Many other qualities can also be used. Make a swatch first.
Equipment:
You will need 12 stitch markers (sm), a short circular needle (40 cm) 7 mm, a long circular needle (80–100 cm) 6 and 7 mm, and double-pointed needles 6 and 7 mm if you are not using the Magic Loop technique for the ribbed stitches on the sleeves. You will also need two stitch holders or two lengths of scrap yarn to hold stitches. In addition, you will need an auxiliary needle for the cables (7 mm), preferably made of wood so that the yarn does not slip. A bamboo double-pointed needle can also be used.
