The dress is first knitted bottom-up, and then the ruffle is knitted top-down. The dress has i-cord straps and can be worn over a t-shirt or long-sleeved top, or as a dress on its own in the summer.
The gauge is 14 stitches = 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 6 mm needles.
The dress is available in sizes XS/S (M/L) XL (XXL) with an approximate top circumference of 85 (90) 95 (100) cm along the edge and will fit a bust measurement of approximately 70-85 (85-95 cm) 95-110 cm (110-120 cm). The dress has a wide fit as it has a slight A-line shape but does not require ease of movement as it should fit snugly across the bust.

6 (7) (7) 8 balls of mohair Bella from Permin. Knitted with one strand.
A variety of other qualities can also be used. Always make a swatch first.
You will need 6 mm circular needles, both a 60 cm and an 80/100 cm. For the i-cord straps, you will need 2 double-pointed 6 mm needles.
You will also need 2 stitch markers. You can also just make 2 yarn loops in different colored cotton yarn. These are comfortable to hold. You will also need 2 stitch holders, or yarn scraps to put some stitches aside on.
