Sizes S/M (L/XL)
The jacket measures 114 (124) cm. around and will fit chest size 70-95 cm. (95-110 cm.)
Materials:
9 (10) balls of Mayflower super kid silk mohair. Knit with 4 strands.
Or
7 (8) balls of Fashion Light Luxury brushed alpaca. Knit with 2 strands.
Or
4 (4) balls of Fashion Light Luxury brushed alpaca, together with 5 (5) balls mohair from Lana Grossa, Brigitte no. 3. Knit with 1 strand of each quality.
Knitting tension is 10 st = 10 cm. in stocking stitch on needle size 9 mm.
Needle size is always a suggestion; if you have too many stitches on 10 cm, switch to a larger needle, and if you have too few stitches on 10 cm. switch to a smaller needle size.
A lot of other qualities can be used, always knit a swatch.
You need 8 stitch markers. A short circular needle size 9 mm. (40 cm), a long circular needle size 7 and 9 mm. and double pointed needles size 7 mm. You also need a wire, yarn thred or stitch holder to hold your sleeves stitches.
The cardigan is knitted with raglan sleeves top down and you can measure the lenght as you work, to see if the sleeves and body fits you. You are knitting back and forth on a long circular needle, only the sleeves are knitted in the round on a short circular needle.
